An exciting opportunity to work as an inpatient old age consultant psychiatrist in a male dementia assessment unit You will provide senior expertise in the assessment and treatment of adults over age 65 years presenting cognitive impairment and comorbid conditions. The post holder will work with colleagues of other professional disciplines (ward manager, clinical lead, nurse consultant, social worker, OT, pharmacist) to provide a tailored multidisciplinary package of assessment and of treatment.

Main duties of the jobYour role will be to hold RC responsibility for patients admitted to the unit. You will provide medical leadership to the MDT. The role provides excellent opportunity in being a leader and work on improving pathways for patients within the service.
You will be supported by a medical secretary. We are looking for applicants based anywhere in the UK to explore exciting new opportunities in remote and digital working.
This is a substantive post however we would be happy to consider applicants available on a part time or fixed term basis.
