This is an exciting opportunity to work across CTT and develop your interest in liaison working. This is also an extremely exciting and interesting opportunity to spearhead and contribute towards the development of Hope Haven, Hope Haven – a mental health and wellbeing hub in the heart of Whitehaven and Copeland which is a community partnership initiative between CNTW and a number of partnership organisations.
This is a full time (10PA) post for an adult consultant psychiatrist to provide medical input into the West Adult community Treatment team located at Lilly Park Lane and the Psychiatry Liaison Team located at Cumberland Infirmary in Cumbria.
The post-holder is expected to:
•Participate in the engagement, assessment, diagnosis and formulation of patients referred to the CTT.
•Be committed to delivering excellence in clinical care,
•Work effectively with the multidisciplinary community team and in-patient teams.
•Promote the safety and well-being of the patients we serve.
•To respect the rights and the dignity of patients.
•To consider the individual and cultural needs of patients and
•To work with families and carers in the best interest of the patient (in line with the Trust Carers’ Charter).
