The salary scale above has been agreed as part of the NHS Agenda for Change pay award for 2024/2025 and will be implemented in November 2024 backdated to 1st April 2024 where applicable.
The post holder will be responsible for providing consultant input into the care of people open to Conwy CMHT. All referrals to the community Team are managed by a single point of access. The post holder will be expected to comply with the Mental Health (Wales) Measure 2010.
The post holder will provide specialist psychiatric assessment, treatment and management for adults aged 18 upwards with serious and enduring mental illness in Conwy. The post holder will provide medical input to patients under secondary care CMHT when required by the care coordinator as well as provide consultation and supervision for Primary Mental Health Services in their catchment area.
The post holder will be based with the CMHT and work with the county manager to ensure clinical leadership of the multi-disciplinary team. The post holder will assist with clinical supervision of the team and training of team members in clinical matters.
