Consultant Psychiatrist – General Adults - Perm/FTC

Triple West Medical has been appointed by an NHS Trust based in the South West to help recruit a Consultant Psychiatrist – General Adults on a permanent or fixed-term contract (FTC).

The Trust provides a range of mental health, learning disability, and substance misuse services for over 500,000 people in the region. The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic and friendly department of psychiatrists, with services including inpatient, community, specialist, and emergency services.

Brief Duties

1. Lead clinical decision-making within the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
2. Develop service clinical priorities in line with national and professional guidance and standards.
3. Engage with service transformation programs, including attendance at consultant meetings for their service and division.
4. Contribute to clinical governance and maintain standards within the division.
5. Commit to quality improvement initiatives.
6. Manage, appraise, and supervise junior medical staff professionally.
7. Undertake administrative duties related to patient care.

Our client is willing to issue Certificates of Sponsorship to suitably qualified overseas doctors. GMC registration and relevant experience are essential for this position.
