Job Overview

Life Works, located in Woking, Surrey, is a highly respected private rehabilitation centre specializing in addiction and eating disorder treatments. We are seeking a Private Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team, offering inpatient, outpatient, and Day Care services. This role involves building and managing a private practice within our facility, providing expert psychiatric care, and supporting our high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat outpatient populations with diverse needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including therapists, nurses, healthcare assistants, and dietitians
• Engage in quality improvement and governance activities
• Develop your private practice in line with Life Works’ reputation
• Network with colleagues and referral sources
• Market your practice in conjunction with Priory and register with private insurers
• Maintain professional development and meet Revalidation requirements

Candidate Requirements

• GMC registration with relevant specialist registration
• At least 2 years of experience in eating disorders within a substantive NHS role
• Understanding of Clinical Governance and regulatory frameworks
• Successful DBS check
