We are seeking an experienced full-time Consultant Psychiatrist to work at Cygnet Hospital Maidstone, providing senior medical cover on Roseacre Ward, our 16-bed personality disorder service for women. We are offering a £3,000 welcome bonus for this role!
The post holder will be the Responsible Clinician, overseeing and maintaining the care of all ward inpatients as required, and will also have responsibility for auditing the medical services rendered at the ward, ensuring their quality in accordance with GMC standards and other relevant professional guidelines.
This role offers an opportunity for a Responsible Clinician looking to expand in management as a Deputy Medical Director, as well as gaining clinical experience across all wards, with initial focus on Roseacre Ward.

Roseacre Ward provides a care pathway for service users preparing to step down to community living, employing a recovery-focused model aimed at supporting service users to manage their mental health, develop coping strategies, and prepare for independent living.
Your expertise will be crucial in delivering life-changing treatment, supported by a Specialty Doctor and a multidisciplinary team including qualified nurses, psychologists, and occupational therapists.
