Job summary

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust's Pendle Community Mental Health Team is seeking a consultant psychiatrist to join the general adult service. You will manage a compact caseload of the most complex and unstable patients while contributing to a multidisciplinary team and supporting colleagues across the service.

The post provides 10 programmed activities with at least 2.5 SPAs, on-call duties with enhancements, and opportunities to develop clinical or educational leadership within

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent is required.
• Full GMC registration and Licence to Practise.
• Section 12 approval, or eligible for entry within 3 months.
• Approved Clinician Status, or eligible within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Manage a compact caseload of the most complex and unstable cases.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Support and advise other team members.
• Participate in the Consultant On Call rota.
