Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to lead older people’s mental health services for Thanet, integrating hospital and community care with a strong emphasis on clinical leadership and development opportunities.

The post includes on-call duties (10 PA plus 0.5 PA) with a 3% Category A supplement, and welcomes part-time or job-share applications. GMC registration and MRCPsych or equivalent are essential.

Qualifications

• MRCPsych or equivalent is required.
• On Specialist Register, or within six months of inclusion.
• GMC registration is required; Approved Clinician and S12 approval under the Mental Health Act are expected.
