Job Summary
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Central Norfolk CFYP Team based in Norwich.
The current Central Consultant Psychiatrist establishment includes 1.5 WTE Child & Adolescent and 2 WTE General Adult Consultants covering community services for ages 0-25 across Central Norfolk, including North and South Youth teams and the Children and Families team at Mary Chapman House.
Additionally, there is a WTE Consultant and 1.5 WTE specialty doctors for the CAMHS Eating Disorder service in the same area.
Main Duties of the Job
The Trust seeks to recruit a full-time Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our South Youth minor team. This vacancy joins a lively multidisciplinary team at 80 St Stephens, Norwich.
The post holder will work across various settings within the Locality, including Trust facilities, primary care, local acute NHS hospital facilities, and patients' residences. They will also be the Responsible Clinician for their patients.
The role involves working within the Youth team, with additional duties in emergencies and unforeseen circumstances, including home visits and engaging with 'hard to engage' children and families.
