Job Summary

We are seeking a substantive Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Lancaster & Morecambe CAMHS Team, based at Altham Meadows in Morecambe. The post is full time (10PA). The role offers a Recruitment & Retention Premia of £40k payable on employment start, with eligibility criteria applying. Staff currently employed by the Trust are not eligible for this premia.

The successful candidate will participate in emergency assessments at the local hospital and support the team, which currently includes a locum consultant and a staff grade doctor. The role requires full GMC registration, inclusion on the Specialist register or eligibility within 6 months, and Section 12 approval or eligibility. Remuneration is according to experience and the New Consultant Contract.
