Job summary

The Holistic ADHD Centre is seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist with specialist ADHD/neurodevelopmental expertise to join our clinical team on a flexible, independent contractor basis. The role involves undertaking specialist psychiatric reviews, reviewing assessments, considering differential diagnoses, and providing consultant-level diagnostic oversight and sign-off.

Caseload and hours are negotiable, with no routine medication initiation or titration.

Qualifications

GMC-registered Consultant Psychiatrist with Specialist Register status and ADHD/neurodevelopmental experience.
Experience conducting specialist psychiatric reviews within ADHD/neurodevelopmental services.
Ability to provide diagnostic oversight and sign-off without routine medication initiation.

Responsibilities

Undertake specialist psychiatric reviews with ADHD assessments.
Review completed assessments and relevant clinical information.
Consider differential diagnoses and neurodevelopmental comorbidities.
Provide consultant-level diagnostic oversight and sign-off of ADHD diagnoses where appropriate.
Complete psychiatric reports and documentation for each case.
Work within governance frameworks and with Service Manager support.
Possibility to contribute to ADHD research activities.
