About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our integrated Mental Health team at HMP Five Wells. HMP Five Wells is a category C resettlement prison located in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, housing around 1,687 patients. In this role, you will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and will be supported by a second Psychiatrist who is also our national psychiatry lead.

Hours

This position can be offered as either full-time (5 days per week) or part-time (2 or 3 days per week). Working hours are from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Salary

You will receive an annual salary up to £189,900 per annum FTE, depending on experience.

How will we support you?

  • You will be part of a team of over 15 experienced and supportive Consultant psychiatrists.
  • You will have the opportunity to attend monthly Consultant meetings and 1:1 clinical supervision.
  • Bespoke induction, including our Introducing Health in Justice training course.
  • Competency framework in place.
