Priory Hospital Preston is looking to recruit a consultant psychiatrist to join the team.
Priory Hospital Preston, Bartle, near Preston is amental health hospital offering services for adult males and females with acute mental health needs and eating disorders across four wards. It is accessible by public transport, with local bus routes and Preston railway station nearby. The M55 motorway is also easily accessible.
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients

Essential:
This post requires a strong team player who is enthusiastic about contributing to a multidisciplinary approach to assessment, formulation, and management planning.
Applicants must hold MRCPsych (or an equivalent qualification), a CCT (or equivalent) and be included on the GMC Specialist Register, along with Section 12(2) approval and Approved Clinician status. They must demonstrate clinical knowledge, skills, and experience relevant to the speciality, the ability to work within and lead a team, and a commitment to shared leadership, collaborative working, and service improvement. Candidates should also have evidence of ongoing continuous professional development.
In addition, highly developed communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as the role relies on building trust and confidence with patients to ensure that treatments and interventions are effective and successful.
