ProfDoc is urgently seeking experienced Consultant Psychiatrists to support a significant increase in demand for specialist mental health assessments. This role offers a highly competitive hourly rate and the flexibility to work remotely or on-site within the Herefordshire area.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric assessments and consultations, particularly in the areas of neurodevelopmental disorders. Your clinical insight will play a crucial role in improving diagnostic clarity and patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow-up assessments
• Special focus on patients with ADHD and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Prepare clear, structured, and timely reports
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams when needed
• Maintain up-to-date clinical records in compliance with professional standards

Requirements

• GMC-registered Consultant Psychiatrist
• Experience with ADHD and ASD assessments is highly desirable
• Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
• Comfortable working independently in a remote or on-site setting
