Job Description:

We have several exciting opportunities for project management professionals to join our expanding Real Estate team in Manchester. Responsibilities include:

• Leading project management commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery.
• Acting as the key, day-to-day client interface, ensuring client objectives are met and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Project Managers handle commissions of varying scale and value; typically up to £40m, depending on project complexity. Advisory projects, such as urban re-generation funding, may involve larger projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing strategic advice at project conception to achieve client objectives.
• Establishing success criteria including time, cost, technical, and performance parameters.
• Managing quality, safety, health, and environmental issues.
• Setting up project governance, processes, and systems.
• Project planning and resource procurement advice.
• Leading and facilitating the project team.
• Using performance management techniques and KPIs to improve project outcomes.
• Managing change control processes.
• Monitoring project finances.
• Communicating project progress through meetings and reports.
• Interfacing with clients and consultants throughout all project stages.

Qualifications:

• Degree in a relevant discipline (desirable).
• Proven experience managing construction or refurbishment projects, preferably in a consultancy environment (essential).
