Job Description

We have several exciting opportunities for project management professionals to join our expanding Real Estate team in Birmingham. Responsibilities include:

1. To lead project management commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery.
2. To act as the key, day-to-day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Project Managers handle commissions of varying scale and value; typically up to £40m, depending on complexity. Advisory projects, such as urban re-generation funding, may involve larger projects.

Project Management Responsibilities:

1. Providing strategic advice during project conception to achieve client objectives.
2. Establishing success criteria, including time, cost, technical, and performance parameters.
3. Planning and managing quality, safety, health, and environmental issues.
4. Setting up effective project governance, processes, and systems.
5. Producing detailed project plans.
6. Advising on resource procurement.
7. Leading and facilitating the project team.
8. Monitoring performance and using KPIs for improvement.
9. Managing change control processes.
10. Monitoring project finances.
11. Managing project communication with the client.
12. Producing project progress reports.
13. Interfacing with clients and consultants throughout all project stages.

Qualifications

1. Degree in a relevant discipline (desirable).
2. Proven experience managing construction or refurbishment projects, preferably in a consultancy environment (essential).
