An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the neuropsychology service, including neurorehabilitation, for Cwm Taf Morgwnnwg University Health Board (CTMUHB) and to undertake clinical work in stoke services. We are seeking to recruit a well-qualified psychologist with considerable experience of working in neuropsychology settings, who is enthusiastic about the speciality and committed to developing the service for the whole health board. The role is varied and the post holder will be the service lead for neuropsychology with responsibility for patients with stroke and neurological conditions.

The successful applicant will join the rapidly developing, supportive and dynamic CTMUHB Health Psychology Service and be directly managed by the head of service. The current psychology establishment includes a number of posts in cancer/palliative care, cardiac rehabilitation, critical care, paediatrics, weight management and employee well-being, plus pending developments in additional specialities. There are good links with the South Wales Clinical Doctorate programme in Cardiff University and other university courses in South Wales. There are strong networks of both clinical health psychologists and neuropsychologists in South Wales, with numerous opportunities for CPD and peer support.
