We are looking for
a dynamic, strategic thinker with experience in Medical Dermatology to provide leadership and clinical expertise in developing our service across multiple sites of Bristol Dermatology Centre.
The Bristol Dermatology Centre is a large teaching hospital department offering a full range of dermatological services, including regional services in paediatric dermatology, phototherapy, contact dermatitis, skin lymphoma, and nail disease.
You will join our expanding, innovative team and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to improve care for Medical Dermatology patients.
The successful candidate will lead service development, foster partnerships to enhance quality care, and align with our strategic goals.
Qualifications include experience in Medical Dermatology, leadership in change management, audit, research, and education.
Responsibilities encompass fulfilling the four core functions of a consultant: expert practice, leadership, education, and research; working autonomously to assess and treat patients; leading clinical care development; representing the Trust’s Dermatology service nationally; and empowering the dermatology team through education, training, and research initiatives.
