Job summary

The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is inviting applications for a Consultant in Otolaryngology with a sub-speciality interest in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology. The post comprises 8.5 Programmed Activities (PAs) for ENT duties and 1.5 Supporting Professional Activities (SPAs), based at the ENT Department, Leeds General Infirmary and Wharfedale General Hospital.

Applicants should be FRCS ORL HNS or equivalent and must be on or be within 6 months of CCT on interview; those in training in the

Qualifications

• FRCS ORL HNS (or equivalent) and Specialist Register status.
• Established skills in Otolaryngology and related specialties.
• Commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching; research interest desirable.

Responsibilities

• Fill 10 PA consultant post in the ENT department.
• Deliver expert care for Head & Neck patients and support ENT services.
• Based at Leeds General Infirmary and Wharfedale General Hospital; 8.5 PAs plus 1.5 SPAs.
