Job Description:

CPL UK Healthcare (formerly RIG Locums) is seeking a General Adult Eating Disorder Consultant or S12 Specialty doctor, NHS based in Lincoln, Lincolnshire.

The role offers highly negotiable rates for a dedicated psychiatrist. The trust seeks an enthusiastic Consultant in Learning Disability Psychiatry to work full-time, with opportunities to broaden clinical experience in a supportive environment. The team is well established with good support from senior colleagues.

The position is full-time at 10 PAs per week, with flexible and remote working options negotiable through the Clinical Director. The role may include home visits and travel across the county, so the ability to travel by car is essential due to limited public transport.

Main duties include:

  • Psychiatric assessment of patients with eating disorders and other psychiatric conditions.
  • Leading medical assessments and advising on investigations and management of physical complications.
  • Providing psychiatric and medical risk assessments and management.
  • Collaborating with children’s services, social services, education authorities, GPs, CMHTs, and families for comprehensive care.
  • Leading and supporting ED teams in using outcome measures and diagnostic tools.
  • Providing therapeutic interventions in various modalities.
  • Supervising colleagues in complex cases.
  • Monitoring psychiatric comorbidities and managing pharmacological treatments as per NICE guidelines.

Additional details:

Job timetable available upon request. The role is immediate and ongoing. Rates are negotiable based on preference.

  • Full GMC License to practice
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Relevant experience in this role
