Job Description:

Cpl UK Healthcare (formerly RIG Locums) is seeking an experienced Old Age Consultant based in Lancaster within the community team.

This position supports the Community Mental Health Team, Rapid Intervention and Treatment Team, and Memory Assessment Service. Responsibilities include providing direct care, advice, and consultancy to team members.

For the Community Mental Health and Rapid Intervention Teams, the postholder will contribute clinical input, supervise team members, and conduct domiciliary visits. Collaboration with community team members is essential to ensure emergency response availability during working hours.

In the Memory Assessment Service, duties include conducting memory assessments, providing clinical supervision, and managing assessments and diagnoses for patients with cognitive impairments, with follow-up in clinics managed by nurses/support staff.
