Job Overview

The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is seeking to appoint a Consultant Obstetrician to join the Perinatal Services Directorate. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking individual to work alongside the existing team to help grow, develop, and innovate the service.

This is a non-resident post with current on-call commitments for Obstetrics. Applicants must be on the GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT or equivalent at the time of interview.

Main duties of the job
  • Provide obstetric services with a particular interest in fetal medicine.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours on-call service for the department.
  • Engage in medical audit and research as appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical governance requirements.

  • MRCOG
  • Full GMC registration and license to practice
  • On the GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT

Desirable

  • Fetal Medicine experience
