An NHS trust in London is seeking Consultant Neurologists to provide expert input to cases in the Emergency Department and support Same Day Emergency Care services. Successful candidates will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care. The role offers part-time options without on-call requirements and aims to deliver top-quality healthcare in a supportive environment.
We have an exciting opportunity for Consultant Neurologists to join us on a substantive basis supporting our Acute Neurology Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) pathways which have recently had permanent funding secured following a pilot phase.
The successful candidates will provide expert input on cases presenting to the Emergency Department at University College Hospital and support colleagues across the ED, SDEC and ward areas at the Tower. The successful candidates will also support the General Neurology / Stroke services as per the job plan included in the full job description.

The main duties of this role are to provide expert neurologist input to cases presenting to the Emergency Department / Same Day Emergency Care services at University College Hospital. Multidisciplinary working with other colleagues across different services and professional backgrounds will be essential for a successful candidate.
