  • Setting targets aligned with stakeholder expectations and the Paris Agreement;
  • Monitoring and reporting GHG inventories and progress (e.g., CDP, SBTi, Corporate Reports);
  • Acting as a trusted advisor on GHG accounting, reporting, and target setting trends.

The successful candidate will work closely with the climate change and corporate sustainability teams and may assist in areas like sustainability strategy, due diligence, EHS performance, and risk management.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret technical information to understand commercial implications;
  • Manage client demands and time-sensitive requests;
  • Manage projects and proposals;
  • Build client relationships through account management and project delivery.

Technical knowledge required

  • Degree in environmental field;
  • Experience in environmental consulting, climate change, or related roles;
  • Understanding of ESG/sustainability issues in finance;
  • Knowledge of GHG accounting/reporting principles (e.g., GHG Protocol, SBTi);
  • Ability to identify and justify methodologies;
  • Knowledge of climate change and ESG regulatory and market drivers.

Technical skills

  • Experience managing projects or tasks;
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel;
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Business development and proposal writing experience;
  • Numeracy skills with large datasets;
  • Strong presentation and report writing skills.
