Applications are invited for a full-time (10PA) Consultant post in the Department of Renal Medicine and Transplantation at the Royal London Hospital within Barts Health NHS Trust. This post would be ideally suited for any individual wishing to develop a broad interest in renal medicine including dialysis and transplantation. The department is one of the largest and busiest in the UK that provides comprehensive whole-pathway renal & transplant care from the hub in Whitechapel to six networked kidney centres.
Main duties of the job
Applications are invited for a full-time (10PA) Consultant post in the Department of Renal Medicine and Transplantation at the Royal London Hospital within Barts Health NHS Trust. This post would be ideally suited for any individual wishing to develop a broad interest in renal medicine including dialysis and transplantation. The department is one of the largest and busiest in the UK that provides comprehensive whole-pathway renal & transplant care from the hub in Whitechapel to six networked kidney centres. There is a strong academic tradition within the Centre for Translational Medicine & Therapeutics at the William Harvey Research Institute (Queen Mary, University of London), along with the the Diabetic Kidney Centre in East London. There is also a commitment to excellence in undergraduate and post-graduate teaching. The post will provide unique opportunities to work across sites aimed at improving outcomes for our patients in East London.
Applicants should have full registration with the GMC and be on the Specialist Register or be within 6 months of their CCT.
