An unregulated legal practice in Worcestershire are looking for candidates to assist with the setting up and running of a CLC regulated law firm. At present, the firm specialises in writing trusts - predominantly protective property trusts and asset protection trusts - along with some limited probate and any related conveyancing. To set up the new firm, they require a solicitor or licensed conveyancer to join them and be the HOLP and HOFA. They are therefore recruiting for the following roles:
1. A consultant lawyer to head the firm up and be the responsible person. If you have trusts experience, this would be advantageous, but if not there is also the option for a conveyancer or private client solicitor to act as a consultant in order to get the firm opened. For this, the hourly rate would be £45-50.
2. A senior solicitor with basic trusts and LPA experience to essentially run the firm. Willingness to act as the manager is a pre-requisite and full or part-time hours will be considered. Salary levels are likely to be around the £70k pro-rata mark.
The work can be carried out fully remotely for both roles so office attendance is not required.
