A leading healthcare provider in London is seeking a full-time Consultant in Rheumatology and General Internal Medicine. The role involves outpatient and inpatient care, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and participation in medical education. Candidates must be on the Specialist Registers for Rheumatology and General Internal Medicine. This position offers a dynamic work environment within one of the top trusts in the UK.
An opportunity has arisen for a full-time Consultant in Rheumatology and General Internal Medicine within a growing, dynamic and forward thinking Rheumatology department at the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, part of the Chelsea & Westminster Foundation Trust. The candidate will join a faculty which currently consists of 4 Consultants, an Associate Specialist, a Specialty Doctor and a Specialist Registrar, working with a multidisciplinary team at the Chelsea & Westminster site. The appointed individual is expected to uphold the Trust values to ensure the delivery of the highest quality care to patients.
Applicants must be on the Specialist Registers for Rheumatology and General Internal Medicine, or within six months of being admitted to the Registers if they are trainees currently in a training programme within the UK. Any candidate who is unable, for personal reasons, to work full-time will be eligible to be considered for the post; if such a person is appointed, modification of the job content will be discussed on a personal basis with the Trust in consultation with consultant colleagues.
