Job description

There is an exciting opportunity for a Consultant in Rheumatology and Acute Medicine or Rheumatology to join the team working across Wythenshawe, Trafford, Withington and Altrincham, hospitals for 12 months.

Interested applicants are strongly recommended to come and meet the team and to discuss with our leads. We have a strong emphasis on team work, communication and flexible working to allow us to get the most out of our work and home lives. We are committed to contributing not just to Medicine and Rheumatology. but to the Trust as a whole in terms of inpatient flow, and also education, training and management.

This appointment will be made in accordance with the 2003 Consultant Contract Terms and Conditions. The Job Description indicates the main duties of the post, which may be reviewed in the light of experience and developments within the service. Any review will be undertaken in conjunction with the post holder.

This is a full time 10PA post. However, applications for less than full time work or job shares would also be welcomed. 11/12 PAs may also be available by mutual agreement.
