NHS Forth Valley is seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Rheumatology to join their consultant-led team. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive care while working flexibly and collaboratively. Qualifications

  • Applicants must have evidence of recent continued academic and professional development.
  • Full GMC registration and a licence to practice required.
  • Registered on the GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive clinical service as part of the consultant-led rheumatology team.
  • Take on new challenges to expand the service and work collaboratively with team members.
  • Option to participate in the General Medical rota at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.

NHS Forth Valley seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative consultant colleague to the post of Consultant in Rheumatology.

The successful applicant will join the consultant-led rheumatology team and will share responsibility for providing an excellent and comprehensive clinical service in Forth Valley. This post is for 10 PAs but does provide options to work flexibly subject to discussion regarding roles and responsibilities and in keeping with the needs of the service. The successful candidate will need to be prepared to take on new challenges to expand the service and work collaboratively with other team members. If applicants are interested, there is also the option of participating in the General Medical rota within Forth Valley Royal Hospital.

NHS Forth Valley provides acute services for a population of approximately 310,000 people in Central Scotland. Acute services, emergency and complex care, and planned services are provided for at Forth Valley Royal Hospital (FVRH)
