The trust is seeking a highly motivated and capable individual for a full-time/10 PA post based at Walkergate Park, a level 1 neurorehabilitation center in the north of England. Part time applicants are welcome to apply. The post holder will work primarily in the outpatient team across neuro-rehabilitation services. This post will include non-resident on-call. Candidates with a special interest are welcome to apply, and this can be negotiated alongside candidate capability and service needs.

As a Consultant, you will know what it means to achieve this by leading a team. Striving for a better service leads to a better you.

Main duties of the job: general rehabilitation and toxin delivery work, with clinics typically comprising 3 hours of clinical work and 1 hour of admin (adjustments possible to meet candidate/service needs). In-reach work for inpatients in neurobehavioral and neurorehabilitation wards, plus outreach clinics/home visits. Regional centre for neurorehabilitation; part of the Single Point of Access team assessing referrals for inpatient admission. Toxin clinics (new assessment, spasticity MDT clinics 1–3 per week, and reviews) across various medical and non-medical injectors. The post holder is expected to support the toxin service, particularly spasticity management, and experience with ultrasound-guided and non-ultrasound-guided injections is desirable. You will have your own office space and will be supported by a medical assistant and/or medical secretary. Remote and digital working opportunities are available.

This is a substantive, full-time post; part-time or fixed-term considerations can be discussed.
