Come and join one of the UK’s largest independent providers in neuro and mental healthcare. We proudly employ over 4000+ people - no matter what your experience, we have jobs for everyone.
We'd like you to join us as a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine at Hothfield Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre. This position is part time - 1 day per week.
Set in Kent within the 12-acre grounds of a manor house, Hothfield Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre specialises in intensive rehabilitation for people in the early stages of recovery from a brain injury through to residential care. We care for adults over 18. Our team is also experienced in managing associated needs, such as spasticity management, PEG feeds, and skin integrity problems.
Our on-site multidisciplinary team (MDT) includes nursing, physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, clinical psychology, and rehabilitation assistants. The team is supported by weekly sessional visits from a rehabilitation medicine consultant.
Our clinical team is supported by a centre manager, activity coordinator, and staff in housekeeping, catering, maintenance, and administration.
Our MDT collaborates to ensure all members work towards shared, practical, and realistic goals, focusing therapies on enabling patients to achieve those goals.
The neurorehabilitation setting is a purpose-built unit offering active, short-term rehabilitation for individuals with speech, functional, or cognitive needs. Each individual has personal rehabilitation goals, and we work within a structured therapy program to help them relearn and practice daily skills for potential return home.
