Job description

Consultant in Pain Management - West Midlands

Triple West Medical is currently seeking an experienced Consultant in Pain Management for a locum FTC of 6 to 12 months minimum.

The NHS Trust serves a population of over 350,000 across multiple sites, providing secondary care and some specialist services. They are looking for an experienced consultant to join their friendly team.

The role involves:

  1. Chronic Pain Management (5 PA's), leading a Multidisciplinary Outpatient Clinic and covering a day case procedure list.
  2. Supporting expertise in the active management of intrathecal drug delivery systems (optional).
  3. Providing consultant-delivered pain management services as per service needs.
  4. Participating in continuing professional development (CPD) and meeting standards set by the Royal College of Anaesthetists.
  5. Undertaking teaching and training responsibilities.
  6. Engaging in the appraisal and job planning process.
  7. Being involved in clinical governance and participating in clinical audits.

Our client is willing to issue Certificates of Sponsorship to suitably qualified overseas doctors. GMC registration and relevant experience are essential.
