We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Consultant in Paediatrics to join our vibrant and supportive general paediatric team at Sheffield Children's.
This post combines acute and general paediatric responsibilities with a specialist role in Epilepsy, Functional Neurological Disorders (FND), and Pain management. You will contribute to high-quality care and service development across both general paediatrics and the epilepsy clinic, FND, and the pain service.
About You:
CCT in Paediatrics or equivalent (or within 6 months of obtaining).
Relevant expertise in Epilepsy/FND/Pain.
CESR applicants must be on the Specialist Register at the time of application.

Main duties of the jobYou will report to the Associate Medical Director, and responsibilities will include:
Deliver general paediatric care through clinics and acute service cover, including Consultant of the Week duties, rapid access clinics, twilight shifts, weekends, and on-call commitments.
Collaborate with the tertiary paediatric neurology service to contribute to the delivery of a secondary care level epilepsy clinic, working with a General Paediatrician with an Interest in Epilepsy to support and develop this service.
Contribute to the care of children and young people with FND, collaborating with allied health professionals and alongside the Pain Team, providing paediatric medical support for this service.
