Are you looking to work in a forward-thinking and evolving department? An opportunity has arisen for a Consultant specializing in Paediatric Emergency Medicine to join a fantastic team at a hospital situated in a resort town on England's North Sea coast.

Our client is seeking a Consultant with a formal PEM qualification. Candidates with relevant qualifications in Emergency Medicine or Paediatrics are also considered, and the job plan will be tailored to the preferences of the successful candidate.

Significant investment has been made in the Emergency Medicine department. This is an excellent opportunity to join a committed, innovative team dedicated to high-quality care. The Trust is designing a new acute care unit providing 24/7 services. The successful candidate will help design and set up this facility.

The hospital has a friendly, close-knit team. Located in a rural area serving a large geographical population, it offers exposure to a full range of paediatric emergencies, including trauma. The department sees over 60,000 patients annually, with more than 11,000 paediatric urgent and emergency presentations.

Minimum Requirements:

• GMC license to practice
• FRCEM or MRCPCH qualification
• ALS and EPALS provider
• Entry on GMC specialist register or within 6 months of CCT, or within 12 months of expected CESR approval
• For candidates abroad, completion of necessary language tests (IELTS/OET/NARIC) satisfying UKVI requirements
