Pulse Healthcare is seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry to join our NHS client in Oldbury, Worcestershire on a locum basis for a short-term contract starting immediately.

You will provide expert clinical assessments and diagnoses for the elderly with complex mental health issues, lead treatment plans, and oversee multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers and nurses.

Qualifications

• Full GMC licence to practice.
• Section 12 qualification.
• Previous experience in a similar role.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry tofor our NHS client based in Oldbury, Worcestershire. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract.

What will your responsibilities be?

As a Psychiatrist in the UK, your responsibilities are both broad and specialised. You are primarily responsible for providing expert clinical assessments and diagnoses for the elderly experiencing complex mental health issues. This involves leading and overseeing the development of comprehensive treatment plans and therapeutic interventions. You are expected to manage and support multidisciplinary teams, ensuring effective collaboration between various healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and nurses.

Qualifications and Experiences:

• You must have a full GMC licence to practice
• Section 12
• Previous experience in similar role
