We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry to work full-time hours per week for our NHS client based in Harrow, Middlesex. This a Community Mental Health (CMHT) role. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract.

What will your responsibilities be?

As a Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry your key responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments. You will evaluate adults to understand their mental health challenges, considering their personal history and symptoms. Based on these assessments, you will formulate individualised treatment plans tailored to each person's needs and goals.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with various healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. Your role will also involve overseeing therapeutic interventions, including medication management and crisis interventions.
