Somerset NHS Foundation Trust's Musgrove Park Hospital invites applications for a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a special interest in high-risk obstetrics to join our team.

The post combines a broad obstetric and gynaecological role with dedicated time to lead a dedicated multiple pregnancy antenatal clinic, work with fetal medicine and sonography colleagues, and develop services in line with Twins Trust standards.

Qualifications

• Clinical expertise in obstetrics and gynaecology suitable for a consultant appointment.
• Experience leading high-risk obstetric services.
• Interest in multiple pregnancy care and collaboration with fetal medicine.

Responsabilités

• Lead the multiple pregnancy antenatal clinic and collaborate with fetal medicine and sonography colleagues.
• Deliver elective and emergency obstetric and gynaecology care, outpatient clinics, theatre and day-case activity.
• Participate in the 1:12 consultant on-call rota and provide teaching and governance.
