Overview

Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Locum Consultant Gastroenterologist. The successful candidate will join the current team of seven Consultant Gastroenterologists, two Gastroenterology Speciality Doctors, two Nurse Endoscopists, six Upper GI Surgeons and seven Colorectal Surgeons, 3.5 IBD Clinical Nurse Specialists and an Upper GI Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist. The Gastroenterology Service is based primarily at East Surrey Hospital, Redhill, providing a full range of endoscopy services across two endoscopy suites (East Surrey site and Crawley Hospital) totaling six rooms.

The Gastroenterology Department is expanding and progressive within a busy DGH. The role involves working within the team to deliver high-quality gastroenterology care.
