Introduction

We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CMHT) to work full-time hours for our NHS client based in Huddersfield, Yorkshire. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for an immediate start, for a short-term contract.

Responsibilities

As a Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in the UK, your responsibilities include:

  1. Providing expert clinical assessments and diagnoses for children and adolescents with complex mental health issues.
  2. Leading and overseeing the development of comprehensive treatment plans and therapeutic interventions.
  3. Managing and supporting multidisciplinary teams, ensuring effective collaboration among healthcare professionals such as psychologists, social workers, and nurses.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Full GMC licence to practice
  • Specialist Register (CCT)
  • Relevant previous experience in a similar role
  • Section 12 approval
  • Approved clinician status
