CONSULTANT IN CHILD & ADOLESCENT PSYCHIATRY

Position Details

Post: 1.0 WTE CONSULTANT IN CHILD & ADOLESCENT PSYCHIATRY

Base: Renfrewshire CAMHS

This role involves providing 10 sessions for Renfrewshire CAMHS as part of the Renfrewshire-Inverclyde psychiatry hub. The successful candidate will work within a community multi-disciplinary Child & Adolescent Mental Health Team based in the Aranthrue Centre, Renfrew.

Responsibilities
  • Providing psychiatric support and leadership within the community CAMHS team.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team serving a socio-economically diverse population.
  • Opportunities to develop special clinical interests across various clinical service areas.
Qualifications
  • Full GMC registration and a licence to practice.
  • Evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or equivalent.
  • Experience in tier 3 or 4 child and adolescent psychiatry services.
Additional Information

Applicants should be registered as an Approved Medical Practitioner under the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Act (2003) or be willing to undertake training. The interview date is scheduled for 20/05/2025.
