Applications are invited for the appointment of a Consultant in Cardiothoracic Histopathology at Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
The post is open to both full-time and part-time applicants. Roles are available substantively or on a locum/fixed-term basis if preferred. Job-share candidates are also welcomed. If appointed, modification of the job content will be discussed on a personal basis in consultation with Consultant colleagues.

Maintenance of the highest clinical standards to support the management of cardiothoracic patients.
Share with colleagues the responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Cardiothoracic Histo/Cytopathology Service and the running of relevant MDTs.
Experience in clinical teaching and lecturing to colleagues and undergraduates
Actively participate in both departmental and Trust matters concerning clinical governance and audit.
Responsibility for ensuring active participation in continuing medical education (CME).
