Job description

We are now seeking to recruit Consultant Psychiatrists to join our CAMHS CRISIS Community mental health services on a full-time or part-time basis. We are pleased that you are considering a career at LPT. You will work in partnership with members of well-established multi-disciplinary teams, both operationally and strategically, to drive forward innovation and deliver the best effective care for our patients.

Main duties of the job
  1. Deliver the highest quality of clinical care to our patients and carers.
  2. Work in partnership at both strategic and operational levels with relevant and external stakeholders.
  3. Ensure that people who use services, carers, and advocates are treated with respect and dignity.
  4. Provide excellent clinical leadership and actively develop your team, offering expert advice to hospital and community specialists, managers, and directors on delivering excellent care and future strategic directions.
  5. Maintain responsibility for patient care and the proper functioning of the department.
  6. Liaise with General Practitioners, hospital and community specialists, and other relevant agencies.
  7. Engage with the development of your Job Plan, with a specimen timetable available in the attached job description.
