A leading hospital is seeking a Consultant Audiovestibular Physician to join a dynamic team providing high-quality clinical care in Adult Neurotology and Paediatric Hearing. Responsibilities include patient assessments, mentorship for junior staff, and participation in teaching and research activities. This role requires a GMC-registered primary medical qualification and specialty training. Ideal candidates will have experience in both teaching and clinical governance.
The successful post - holder will be joining a dynamic team of 6 Consultant Audiovestibular physicians who work closely together with a large team of audiologists to provide secondary and tertiary Audiovestibular services to the South West London sector and beyond.
To deliver high quality clinical care in Adult Neurotology, Adult Hearing / Tinnitus and Paediatric Hearing.
To contribute to multi - disciplinary Clinical Genetics meetings, Adult and Paediatric Vestibular Research meetings, Interesting Case Discussion meetings and participate in quarterly South West Thames Regional Audit Group Peer Review meetings
Opportunities to engage in undergraduate / postgraduate teaching and research.

1. To share in the organisation and provision of high-quality clinical care for patients within the Trust.
2. To assess and review patients within the outpatients setting, including performing appropriate clinical procedures in this setting.
3. To provide senior support and input into clinical decisions taken by junior medical staff and other audiology staff within the department.
4. To provide accurate and timely communication between the department and its patients, and referrers and other relevant professionals as clinically indicated
5. To develop new procedures and strategies for patients referred to the speciality.
