A leading NHS trust is seeking a Consultant Anaesthetist with a focus on ENT and Orthopaedics. The role involves providing anaesthetic services across multiple hospitals, leading a team, and engaging in teaching and research. Barts Health NHS Trust has a vision to be a high performing group of NHS hospitals, renowned for excellence and innovation and providing safe and compassionate care to our patients in east Londonand beyond.We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Consultant Anaesthetist with a particular interest in ENT and Orthopaedics.We provide anaesthetic services across all our hospitals: The Royal London Hospital, Whipps CrossHospital, Newham Hospital and St Bartholomew's Hospital (Bart's).
At the Royal London Hospital we provide: POA, Pain - acute and chronic, Trauma and orthopaedics, gynae-oncology, gynaecology, urology, HpB, colorectal, ENT, general and plastic surgery, neurosurgery, vascular,renal, maxillofacial, dental, paediatrics, obstetrics and interventional radiology.
This post is a substantive consultant post in Anaesthesia based at The Royal London Hospital; the successful candidate may be asked to cover surgical lists at other sites across the Trust if required. The post holder will be an employee of Bart's Health and there may be future opportunities or requirements to work at one of the other hospitals in the Bart's Health group.
This is a general post with an interest in ENT and Orthopaedics for a consultant Anaesthetist. The appointee must be able to work flexibly and be able to cover all the specialties provided for at The Royal London Hospital.
