Grade:Consultant

Working Hours:40 hours

We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work full time hours for our NHS client’s inpatient team based in Southgate, Greater London. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract.

What will your responsibilities be?

We are seeking a Consultant for our client’s General Adult Unit. The Consultant Psychiatrist – Single Point of Access will provide expert psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for individuals accessing mental health services through a centralised point of entry. The role involves clinical leadership and decision-making, ensuring timely access to appropriate care for patients, liaising with other health professionals, and maintaining high standards of mental health care delivery.

Qualifications and Experiences:

• You must have a full GMC licence to practice
• Section 12
• Approved Clinician not essential but must have good experience
• Previous experience in similar role
