Job description

Job Title: Consultant in Adult Psychiatry
Banding: Consultant
Location: Glasgow, North Lanarkshire
Working Hours: 40 per week
Rate: Competitive, to be discussed upon application

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to join our NHS client based in Glasgow, North Lanarkshire.

What will your responsibilities be?

Your responsibilities will include conducting psychiatric assessments, formulating accurate diagnoses, and prescribing appropriate pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions. You will provide consultation and support to primary care providers, community mental health teams, and other stakeholders involved in adult mental health care. You will also participate in service development initiatives, quality improvement projects, and research activities aimed at enhancing mental health services for adults.
