The NHS seeks a specialist histopathologist to join the RMH SIHMDS team. This key role involves producing integrated diagnostic reports, supporting research, and managing organizational duties within a leading cancer center. Ideal candidates will possess significant qualifications and experience in haematopathology, alongside a commitment to advancing cancer care.
The new post holder will be a key member of the RMH SIHMDS team, working alongside four other specialist histopathologists (2.5 WTE) with a special interest in haematopathology, haematology consultants, and leads for other technical disciplines. The role involves ensuring the timely production of fully integrated diagnostic reports. The post will fill one of three and a half whole time equivalent pathologist positions within the CMP and support diagnostic services and translational research for internal RMH and external partners. There will also be opportunities to collaborate with pathologists from user organisations to develop sample pathways, as well as links for education and research.
The appointee will undertake managerial and organizational duties within the CMP to support the existing staff. They will also support research by providing pathological interpretation across various tumour types.

Salary: £105,504 to £139,882 per annum, including HCAS.
