Job summary
University College London Hospitals (UCLH) is inviting applications for a full-time Consultant in ENT Surgery with a specialised focus on Head & Neck Surgical Oncology. This pivotal role is integral to UCLH's world-class Multidisciplinary Head and Neck Centre, established in 2015. You will collaborate with a team of Oral, Maxillofacial, and ENT surgeons to deliver advanced care to oncology patients across North Central and North East London and Essex.

You will help expand and evolve services, attend outreach clinics, and support integrated care across the cancer network. Main duties of the jobThe role involves delivering approximately 10 Programmed Activities weekly, mainly at UCLH, with Honorary Consultant Support at Princess Alexandra Hospital. Responsibilities include patient care, procedural sessions, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Within the first 3 months, the postholder will finalize a personalized job plan with the Clinical Lead and Clinical Director, aligning professional goals with service needs. Flexible working options are encouraged, with opportunities to adjust audit, admin, and SPA sessions upon prior agreement. The postholder is expected to contribute to service development, uphold clinical standards, and engage in CPD to support departmental and Trust-wide objectives.
