CPL UK Healthcare (formerly RIG Locums) is seeking a General Adult Consultant for NHS in Devizes, Wiltshire.

The role offers negotiable rates for a dedicated psychiatrist. The trust seeks an enthusiastic Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry for full-time work. It is ideal for someone looking to broaden community experience and develop clinical skills in a supportive environment. The team is well-established with good support from senior colleagues.

We are hiring a Consultant Psychiatrist for the Community Mental Health team in West Wiltshire and Devizes. This vacancy arose due to the previous post-holder moving to a new role.

Main duties include:

• Providing direct interventions to service users, including those requiring assertive engagement, ongoing assessments, diagnoses, and treatment of mental and physical health needs.
• Providing medical input and leadership to the CMHT, especially for patients from surgeries.

Additional responsibilities:

• Advising Multi-Disciplinary Teams and attending team meetings.
• Assessing and treating outpatients in clinics.
• Holding CPA meetings for outpatients.
• Visiting patients at home if needed.
• Liaising with other services, GPs, and non-NHS organizations.
• Coordinating with inpatient services for smooth client handovers.
• Fulfilling the Responsible Clinician role for patients under Community Treatment Orders.
