Join Us as a Consultant Psychiatrist - New Forest East Community Mental Health Team

We're seeking a dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist to join our New Forest East Community Mental Health Team at Anchor House, Totton, Southampton. Lead and deliver high-quality, compassionate mental health care in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide expert clinical leadership and manage complex cases.
2. Support a multidisciplinary team in delivering community mental health care.
3. Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage risks.
4. Supervise clinical practice ensuring patient-centred, evidence-based care.

Candidate Requirements

• Full GMC registration.
• CCT in General Adult Psychiatry (or within 12 months of completion).
• Eligible for inclusion in the Specialist Register.
• Approved Clinician status and Section 12(2) approval or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in service development, teaching, and quality improvement.
